What color is the sun? ROY G. BIV Dailies from Here GOES and SUVI explores how we depict energies which are essentially invisible to us. For this video, images of the sun at different wavelengths in the ultraviolet spectrum are combined in RGB channels to create color images, which are combined sequentially in an animation. The images are from the weather satellite GOES-19, and were received from the satellite as radio transmissions by Here GOES Radiotelescope.
